Approach

The entrepreneur's perspective, at the table where policy is designed.

Many policies and programmes supporting entrepreneurship, employment or digitalisation are designed without anyone at the table who has set up and closed a business, or who has led a unit in a large company. Martín Díaz Cuadrado has done both and has led more than two hundred projects.

As an adviser or member of a working group he provides diagnosis, critical review of proposals, indicators that measure real results and a practical reading of how each measure will reach a self-employed worker, an SME or someone who wants to start a business.

Who it is for

  • Ministries, regional governments and public bodies.
  • Chambers of commerce, employers' organisations and business associations.
  • Foundations, universities and research centres.
  • International and European bodies and programmes.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of bodies can work with him?

National and regional governments, public bodies, chambers of commerce, employers' organisations and business associations, foundations, universities, international bodies and programmes, and third-sector organisations working on entrepreneurship, employment or economic development.

What role can he play in a working group?

External expert with practical experience: providing diagnosis, reviewing proposed programmes or regulations from the standpoint of those who start or run an SME, proposing indicators and taking part in drafting conclusions.

Does he work with bodies outside Spain?

Yes. He can take part in working groups, committees or projects of international bodies, in person or remotely, in Spanish, Catalan or English.

How is the collaboration formalised?

Depending on the body: a service contract, participation as an expert in a funded project, a commissioned report or appointment to a committee. The specific proposal is sent once the objective and timetable are known.

Is there a conflict of interest with his professional activity?

His current activity (including his role at PcComponentes) is always declared in writing so that the body can assess any potential conflict before formalising the collaboration.
